About Me
Hello!
My name is Elizabeth Leiro; I am a professional editor who lives in Los Angeles, CA, with my husband and two small children in a tiny house.
I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of San Diego with a double major in communication studies and Spanish with a minor in English. In 2023, I completed the UC San Diego Extended Studies copyediting certificate program along with an elective class pertaining to editing works of fiction.
As a lifelong reader and writer, I have always had a deep love for stories. Through my editorial services, I will provide you with the support and confidence you need to indie publish or pursue traditional publication. My goal is to help you put your best word forward. I would love the opportunity to work with you on your project!
In my free time, I love to work on my own novels, spend a cozy evening reading on my Kindle, binge watch my favorite shows, work on Sudoku puzzles, or play video games (especially The Sims 4, Civilization VI, Assassin’s Creed, and Disney Dreamlight Valley). I also look forward to continuing my education in editing by taking classes and attending presentations or conferences via professional editorial associations.
Please reach out to me with any questions you may have about the editorial process or if you need help deciding what type of editing you may need. I would love to be a resource for you!
Sincerely,
Elizabeth
